STUDENTS RECOGNITION:
An awards assembly will be held bi-weekly to recognize students who have shown outstanding performance and at the end of the school year each student who has received a student recognition award will qualify to receive student of the year award.
ASSEMBLY:
Assemblies are times when the school community gathers to share information and give honor to outstanding student performance.
PROGRESS REPORTS:
Progress reports are mailed home every three weeks. Please keep mailing addresses current in the school office.
GUIDANCE:
An Academic Advisor is available to meet with students to assist or answer any questions concerning prior transcripts, the academic standing at CEC, to help project a graduation date, and discuss post-high school plans. A graduation plan will be completed and filed in each student’s record.
GPA/RANK:
While CEC calculates student grades, it does not formally rank students. Students will receive grades based on the following grading scale:
- A 100-90
- B 89-80
- C 79-70
- F 69-below
TRANSCRIPTS:
Transcripts of a student’s scholastic achievement records and test scores may be obtained by written request. Transcripts may take up to 10 days from the request date to receive. Upon entering CEC, students are required to bring official transcripts showing credits and test scores from schools they have attended in the past.
